Colin Cowie began his career as a wedding and party planner, and founded Colin Cowie Lifestyle—an event-planning, catering, and interior design company—in 1985 when he moved to the United States. He is the author of five books, including Colin Cowie's Extraordinary Weddings, Dinner After Dark and Colin Cowie Weddings. Cowie is also a frequent consultant on the CBS Early Show and The Oprah Winfrey Show.
